DESIGN
Creating web sites can be an agonizing process. I am almost never
satisfied with the final product and find myself constantly tweaking
the layout, colors, and graphics. The key is to focus on a single
outcome. Ask yourself "What is the goal of the web site and
does it meet that goal?" It's also easier to start small and
develop a larger more comprehensive site over time. There is no
need to pay thousands of dollars to give your business an online
presence when you are only looking for a simple brochure style web.
The first thing we will focus on in creating your web site is to
define your ideal outcome and determine what goals need to be met
to accomplish that outcome. "How will your company's needs
be met by the web site?" Is it purely informational, letting
the user gain knowledge about your company and it's products or
do you need to set up an e-commerce site so they can purchase your
product directly. These are two entirely different types of web
sites and cost can be drastically different.
This brings up the question of cost. It's very difficult to determine
the cost of any web site until I know what you want it to do and
calculate how long it will take me to produce. I can charge hourly
or work to meet a predetermined spending budget. Cost is really
up to you. Small informational web sites can run from 500$ to 1000$
dollars while larger sites may cost 3 to 4 times more. Go ahead
and contact me and I will give you a basic estimate of your cost. |
